UT Level II — The UT Level II is responsible to calibrate and interpret ultrasonic equipment to Acuren procedures. The level II must be able to correctly identify inspection locations and track the progress on inspection work packages. Typical work would include scanning piping systems for corrosion / erosion networks and thickness. Also included the Level II must be capable of interpreting welds made from various processes according to but not limited to ASME, ANSI, API, AND AWS codes. Typically working as a 2 person crew, the level II will be required to mentor and train the UT Trainees. The work is in the field; working around and on the pipelines. More information...
